Filmmaking for the community.
By the community.
ABOUT
Shepherd Screen CIC is the not-for-profit arm of Shepherd Creative — a community interest company registered under the Companies Act 2006, dedicated to using film and the creative arts for the benefit of people across Lincolnshire and the wider North of England.
We exist to open doors.
To give emerging filmmakers the support they need to grow.
To bring young people into the creative industries.
To use the power of film to support the wellbeing of people who are often left out of the arts entirely.

Rooted in the North
We are proudly Lincolnshire-based and committed to the communities and creatives of the wider North of England.
Our relationship with Shepherd Creative
Shepherd Screen CIC was founded by Joseph Shepherd, the director of Shepherd Creative. The commercial success of Shepherd Creative directly enables the mission of Shepherd Screen — every project we deliver as a production company helps fund the community work we care about most. Two organisations, one purpose.
We are a not-for-profit community interest company, which means every donation, partnership, or contribution goes directly towards funding emerging filmmakers, community workshops, and creative opportunities across Lincolnshire and the North of England. If you'd like to support our work or discuss funding opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
